We finally booked a venue! Almost a year after our engagement, Peter and I have finally put in a deposit and reserved a date.

Everything since Peter started to plan the proposal has so beautifully fallen into place. I hate attributing it to “fate” but it really feels like things are happening for a reason and leading us to exactly where we need to be. I went through several short periods of panic when venues were not appealing to me at all.. and I was really against paying the outrageous costs of venue for something I wasn’t 100% happy with. But I happen to be randomly Googling keywords for venues one day at work and stumbled upon this one. Everything worked out so well.. from the date they had available to the fact that we could use our family/friends who lived in the city to get a discount.

Peter and I are so excited to really get the planning and preparation process started. We already have Wedding Workshop Headquarters set up at my house already. 😉
