Thai House v2.0 – Part 10
There’s been in a lull in progress over the past month while electrical, plumbing, and fire sprinklers continue work, which is pretty annoying. In the mean time though, we’ve been working on ripping out the existing hardwood floors in the living room and the tiles in the kitchen. The existing wood floors were made of real wood planks and were nailed down with at least 6 nails per plank. The room isn’t THAT big but BOY was it a lot of work yanking the pieces out. My whole body was sore for days after.
Since our remodeled house will be an open floor plan, we won’t be able to finish laying all of the new floor until all of the drywall goes up. So stay tuned for the finished product! (Sneak peek of the floors in the background of the featured pic!)
