Early Sunday morning, Claudia and Isaac left back to Los Angeles. Peter and I went to 5th Avenue to do a little shopping and to visit the Grand Central Station.

Then, we met up with our friend Vinnie for lunch at Ken & Cook on the LES (lower east side.. we were learning the lingo ;D).

After lunch, Peter and I wandered around Chinatown with our bubble tea in hand and bought some souvenirs. We had to wait in line for the bathroom in a Chinese supermarket so we sipped our drinks and bopped around to the funky music playing inside. And yes, the bathroom was ATROCIOUS. But when a girl’s gotta go, a girl’s gotta go.

We made our way to Luna Park in Coney Island to visit the beach, amusement park, and to eat their food.

We wandered around town some more before meeting up with Christina and Andy to eat the restaurant I had been waiting months for: Raclette. They’re a tiny little restaurant famous for their cheese dish. And Peter knows how much I love cheese. Mm..

After dinner, Christina treated us to some cereal milk soft serve and a compost cookie at Momofuku Milk Bar. A cheese-y dinner followed by delicious dessert?? YES PLEASE!

Our last stop of the night was the Brooklyn Bridge Park. This time around, Peter got photos of the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges at night with the Manhattan skyline in the background.
