We’re sloooooowly starting to paint our way across the fence but this is so much easier than the heavy work it took to actually build it. It takes us about an hour to paint one panel since Peter has to work on one side and I have to work on the other to prevent blobs of paint from going through the planks.

The color is a really pretty light brown and I actually think the paint looks (and is starting to smell) like chocolate pudding. Peter doesn’t think so. I think the fumes are getting to me.

We’ve gotten a lot of compliments from neighbors who have watched us build the Great Wall of Thai piece by piece for the last year. We’ve also gotten a lot of lookie-loos who drive by and slow down to stare at us while we work.

The Wall is slowly getting there!!
