Building the Great Wall of Thai – Part 3
And the wood fence is up!
We took advantage of Labor Day Weekend and spent all of Sunday cutting and screwing in 110 pieces. My dad and brother helped us all day long and, by the end of the day, we were covered in sweat and tanned about 10 shades darker.
This new fence is such an improvement on the previous fence. On the old fence, the gaps between each piece was so big that people walking on the sidewalk had an excellent view of the entire backyard. The new fence still has a gap but it provides so much more privacy. Also, we pushed the fence out about 6 feet. This makes the already-huge-backyard that much bigger.. Perfect for creating even more space for the house addition.
We haven’t painted the fence yet but when we do.. Oh it’s gonna look good!
I just wish I could blink my eyes and it’ll suddenly be done.
